Al Ameen Arabians
Our beautiful filly, Rasheedah Al Ameen. Her name means “Graceful”.
Arabians of the trustworthy friend, is the meaning of Al Ameen Arabians in Arabic a name that truly embodied our mission as a breeding farm.
When we first arrived in South Carolina, back in 2004, we knew we wanted to have a business utilizing our farm which was perfectly suited for raising horses. Cheryl was always intrigued by the Arabian horse and it was surely divine intervention that led us to the Straight Egyptian Arabian. This rare breed is one of the world’s oldest and most beautiful, intelligent and friendly horses with a rich history founded in the bedouin tents of the Arabian desert. A noble and majestic horse it has a distinct following all over the world. “I fell in love with these horses and felt called to have them part of our lives”, says Cheryl. This was the birth of Al Ameen Arabians and our first farm business.
We became breeders in 2006 and also helped others acquire, breed, birth, board, show, and care for their horses through natural practices. Although we are not breeding at this time, we still maintain a stable of quality straight Egyptian Arabian mares for future foals and we hold clinics on the history of this ancient breed and on horse ownership and natural care as part of our Farm Experience series.
If you want to learn more about this amazing breed, natural care, or horses in general, please drop us an email to arrange a visit. Cheryl loves to talk horses with anyone who will listen!
